A
Report
on
Bush’s
Lies
Regarding
Iraq
There
was
a
report
in
today's
newspaper
(January
23rd,
2008)
by
two
non-profit
journalism
organizations
that
claim
Bush
and
Company
made
hundreds
of
false
statements
that
led
to
the
Iraq
war.
The
Center
for
Public
Integrity
and
the
Fund
for
Independence
in
Journalism
concluded
that
the
lies
were
part
of
a
concentrated
campaign
to
fool
the
American
public
and
involve
America
in
a
pre-emptive
war.
They
identified
935
lies
in
the
two-year
period
following
the
9/11
terrorist
attacks.
Bush
and
his
cronies
made
at
least
532
statements
claiming
Iraq
had
weapons
of
mass
destruction
(WMDs)
and
ties
to
Al-Qaida,
which
have
been
unequivocally
proven
false.
Even
Bush
has
admitted
this,
but
has
attempted
to
blame
our
security
organizations,
which
is
also
a
lie.
The
organizations
named
top
administration
officials,
including
Dick
Cheney,
Condoleezza
Rice,
Donald
Rumsfeld,
Colin
Powell,
Paul
Wolfowitz
and
two
White
House
press
secretaries.
Bush
topped
the
list
of
liars
with
259
false
statements,
including
231
about
WMDs
and
28
about
Iraq
and
Al-Qaida.
Powell
lied
244
times
about
the
WMDs.
Cheney,
Rumsfeld,
Wolfowitz
and
Lewis
Libby
are
signers
for
The
Project
for
a
New
American
Century
(PNAC),
which
is
the
Republican
master
plan
for
taking
over
the
world.
The
study
was
on
a
database
containing
information
from
over
25
government
reports,
books,
articles,
speeches
and
interviews.
The
report
also
blamed
the
American
media,
which
published
thousands
of
news
reports
and
broadcasts
during
that
period
that
did
not
challenge
the
administration's
statements.
