 The Christian Right is Wrong
Bush Has Played Them For Suckers

The Christian Right's almost universal support for George W. Bush is responsible for giving this idiot two terms in the White House to the total detriment of America and the world. Most of the members of the Christian Right are fine, compassionate and trusting people with noble intentions, but they are afflicted with a fatal defect: they are gullible and easily manipulated. And they do not understand the current issues that are critical to America’s survival.

This is because of the Christian Right’s blind support for the Republican Party. The unfortunate reality is, it doesn't matter whether a Republican or Democrat is in the White House. Both parties are mostly dominated and controlled by the same interests and, apparently, neither party has any true concern for the Constitution or the principles of liberty.

Politicians in both parties will claim to support whatever the voters want to hear in order to get elected. They do not really care about abortion or gay marriage. They don’t care about the environment or energy policies, except for the costs of these issues to the corporations involved.

GW Bush and Karl Rove employed this approach to put Bush in the White House. They have been able to get away with a policy of lies, deception, immoral attacks on political opponents and critics of their policies. They took America to war in Iraq for no other reason than the personal gain of their friends. And the Christian Right just doesn't get it.

The Bush Administration has displayed little concern for the citizens of America. They are mainly concerned with using the position of President to benefit their cronies in the petroleum and energy industries, as well as the military industrial complex. Their policies continually support the greed and corruption of global corporations, not just American. They are squandering the nation’s treasury on national debt military spending and refusing to address the real issues of concern to Americans: healthcare, education, the economy and the country’s decaying infrastructure.

In this respect, the Democrats are just as inept as Republicans. The leaders of international corporations are really running things in Washington. The Democrats have consistently proven ineffective in controlling Congress and Bush’s policies continue unabated.

The Christian Right’s philosophy has become as totalitarian as that of the Pagan Left. Unfortunately, the extremes of both the left and right have the same result: tyranny. The extreme right wing’s philosophy is no better than the Fascism of Hitler. If you examine the real plan of the Bush Administration, The Project for a New American Century (PNAC) you will find a truly fascist agenda.

It is time for Americans to take back this country from Bush and Company. It is absolutely imperative that voters Throw the Bums Out and clean house in the White House. No Republicans should remain in positions of power. It is time to give the Democrats the opportunity to prove themselves capable of rebuilding this country into a true example of Democracy and to eliminate the rampant corruption and greed associated with the Republicans under the Bush Administration.
